Devising ways to suck folks in,
Deceive, manipulate, coerce,
Entice consumers into sin.
With my malicious, sneaky ways,
Find victims for my vicious scheme,
With some the sale is hard to make,
But most buy into anything.
I cover stench with fragrance sweet,
And camouflage corrupt display,
Play music to mislead, ensnare,
So once they’re in the store, they’ll stay.
Stock heinous lies and fiendish fears,
The most seductive way I’ve found
To keep folks in my darkened store -
Hold hostages and sales abound.
Espy another trusting soul
Who’s sure to be an easy prey,
Soft touch will easily be duped,
Believe the falsehoods that I say.
Oh no you don’t, not int’rested,
Won’t buy what you are selling me!
Refuse to fall for such a scam,
Through sneaky tactics I can see.
Won’t be deceived you swindling cheat,
So keep your sales pitch to yourself,
You ruthless salesman, just give up,
Your lies can stay there on the shelf!
I’ll shop in Heavenly Boutique
Where beauty’s deeper than display,
Aroma’s sweeter than perfume,
With ample light to guide my way.
Shelves stocked with truth and purity,
Bins overflow with love and grace,
Where wondrous hope and peace abound,
Rich holy presence in this place.
An honest salesman always here,
Trust HIM to sell me anything,
I’ll only shop in Store of Truth,
Conduct my business with the King!
