Centuries ago, God’s Word was spoken
Formless, dark and void, became space.
The void, then time, then light, then man, out of the soil and
Out of the mouth of God.

Centuries ago, in a blessed garden named Eden.
Was a perfect man and a woman, then along came a snake and a lie.
Deluded the pair; so now cursed and forsaken, the creatures roamed
Out of the will of God.

Centuries ago, Abraham from Ur
A wandering man with a wife but no child
To whom a promise was made, in covenant sealed
Out of the heart of God.

Centuries ago, His descendants, like sand
Dwelt in a land, a heritage land, but hated by neighbors
A people, a blessed nation, awaiting The Promise from
Out of the prophesies of God.

Centuries ago, a promise was made to the prophet Isaiah
Of A deliverer, who would come from the Seed of David.
A virgin will conceive, of the Holy Spirit and bear a Son, Immanuel
Out of the heart of God, Jesus came to us.

Centuries ago, Jesus walked the earth, Our Redeemer
He was God with us, and he healed the sick, raised the dead
Loved his enemies, cleansed lepers, and drove out demons.
Out of the divine plans of God.

Centuries ago, Jesus was betrayed by a friend.
Then, accused and rejected by all, The Lamb of God was slain on the cross.
Buried in a borrowed tomb, yet three days later he rose to life
Out of the grave, he arose.


Centuries ago, as it was written in The Word.
He ascended on high and now sits at the right hand of His Father, Interceding.
Soon, He’ll return for His Bride and The Marriage Supper of The Lamb.
Out of the Loving purpose of God.

Centuries to come. Jesus will reign forever
As The Alpha and The Omega, God will dwell with His people
No more tears, death, crying or pain. All will be made new in the Kingdom of God
Out of The Revelations from Jesus Christ.

Centuries are coming when time will never end,
As the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Jesus, the Root, and Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.
Out of Eden, God’s Kingdom Restored.

Centuries are coming, when without end
The Tree of Life will grow again, and bear fruits to heal all nations
The River of the Water of Life will flow
Out from the Throne Of God and of The Lamb.
