Patience is a necessary ingredient to faith. Although I realize we all have room to grow in this area, faith without patience is like eating a Reese’s peanut butter cup with no chocolate. It just won’t satisfy.
I admire your honesty. Your story was written from the heart.
I agree that in the 'not yet' time we grow the most. No matter how difficult the waiting is, I think waiting well with hope because we have been promised He is working ALL things out for our good, is much of the point.
A great piece of writing that reflects the heart of a mature believer.
"it is in the midst of the not yet that God often does the most profound work in my inner Christian life." That is such a great phrase.
It is so hard to wait sometimes.
I'm also an impatient person at times, but I am glad provides the answers at the right time and not my time.
