Many people don’t realize when they are rude because they have a different perspective. The same goes for the arrogant. They view their actions as forward-thinking or progressive. But, it’s selfish, because we live in an interactive world and should be mindful of the effects our actions promote in our environment. Not to do so is haughty.
Deserving or not, being respectful to all people shows we are aware of hardships some may be facing. None of us are immune to hardship. It would serve us well to remember the lessons taught through the trials we face in our life’s journey. Only then can we share the sweet victory in someone else’s journey, thereby being honorable to God and ourselves.
It’s all about perspective. As we go about our daily routines, we can choose to be rude, arrogant, selfish, and haughty, or we can choose to be respectful, aware, sweet, and honorable Either way, we’re being r.a.s.h.
