Loved this one!! Very clever and oh so true. Hope you get a prize for this one...
I did not see that last line coming! This was so clever! Thank you for a fabulous read.

Ouch! I think we all have been there some time or other.
It's almost as hard as letting your first published book go out into the world - very much like having your "baby" grow up and make a life of its own.

I was also lost in the allegory, so congratulations on such a fun piece. That last line was a real zinger!
I really enjoyed this one. Great twist at the end.
Oh. My. Word. That was fantastic. I NEVER saw that coming! What a wonderful allegory. You are insanely clever!!

I kept wondering all through the piece, "this has got to mean something...what does it mean?" And then your last line hit me.

And it made me laugh too! That was great.

I told you this would get the judges attention didn't I? ---and rightfully so.

Congratulations!

Major identification here! Great story of the writer's angst!
Congratulations!

KJV 1 Timothy 3:16
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
Congratulations! Well deserved. I'm so glad your baby won. It (he? she?) was beautiful. Very clever allegory. I don't think I will be able to submit again without thinking of it as a baby contest.
