Wow! I sure wouldn't want to be one of the judges this week! Your entry was unique in the look into the two roads we decide upon in life. The repetition of certain thoughts in both the road to Heaven and the road to Hell was very effective, not too overdone. I read this out loud to my 22 yo daughter, and she agreed this was really good!
Pretty cool! Enjoyed the comparisons. Hope Joe got the point! Really enjoyed this.
Interesting comparative; well done.
By far the most original idea, and very well handled. Each of the postcard writers had their own voice, and the use of the same last line for each - 'all I could do was nod' - what a great use of irony! God bless
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! I actually had that same type of idea but decided not to do it and now I'm glad I didn't. You pulled it off very, very well! I hope you win.
This is beautifully done. I love the authentic voices of both your writers, and their gradual life changes. Very accurately depicted, and a very entertaining read. The only thing I would change is the title; it's a bit too close to "Postcards from the Edge," a 1990 movie (also about drug addiction). I'm sure it was a coincidence, but if this is ever published, it might be an issue.
Great job, Al! Incredibly unique! Thanks for sharing!
Great job!
All of the above. Well done.
What an awesome story! I loved it. Great job!
