Topic: CLUMSY (04/11/19)
A clumsy person may not know
if disease or ineptitude made him so.
But they need our empathy
whatever the cause may be.

Clumsy actions may be
caused of lack of sight,
not enough to see right,
and the cause remedied.

I may be clumsy unaware
if I do not take care
to assess the way ahead
and to know my way to bed.

God gives skills to everyone
to work for him under the sun,
if we do not do it right
we may lack insight.

A clumsy man may fall down
and pretend he is a clown,
but to walk the straight way
he needs God's help every day.

God made man in his image
perfect in every way,
but man chose his own way
and continues to this day.

So God came down as Jesus
and lived as one of us,
paid for our imperfections
by dying on a cross.

I enjoyed reading this and loved the fact that you put the Gospel in a nutshell in the last two verses. A good reminder, especially at Easter of what Jesus did for us. Bless you

It was good to see you having a go at this difficult topic. It was also good to see you use the medium of poetry.
What makes a piece of writing a poem is a long and complicated debate but what I would encourage you to do is to consider the rules you have chosen to employ. For example if lines one an two rhyme, and lines three and four rhyme try to ensure that this happens in every verse.
It would also be worth researching how poems scan.
Poetry is a great creative palette continue to enjoy honing your skills.
