without any worry
in a world of chaos.
How to be there.
Let the wind blow
and the waters roar,
in God we are safe
I am sure.
So many cares and
worries in this world.
Cast all your cares on
the God who cares.
Little children have no
cares if they are loved.
We can rest safe in God who
cares from Heaven above.
Free as the breeze
that rustles the trees.
Let the world hassle,
we will be care free.
My childhood in the bush was care free in spite of the great recession on at the time. We had plenty of food with mother's vegetable garden and the sheep father killed for meat, hens for eggs and fruit from our orchard.Extended family members provided clothes, books, newspapers and toys. We did not miss things like TV and computers of today. We had a wind up gramophone and records.
When as a teenager I first met young adults who claimed to have a personal relationship with Jesus as a personal Saviour, I realised what I missed spiritually. I learned to place all my care on my Saviour, who has cared for me ever since.

What a lovely poem and testimony.
