You are not alone!
I hear your cry
You may feel that no
one understands your pain
It may seem like no one cares
Or even knows you are alive
You might consider giving up
Oh, my child, not only do I understand
but I have felt these same emotions
I felt alone
like no one cared
But there is resurrection!
My resurrection is also for you!
Let me take you in my arms
Let me tell you this:
You are cherished
I dreamt of you even before
you were born
I see the ways you
have brought love to others
Every time you comforted someone
and thought no one
noticed or appreciated
your acts of kindness
I noticed. I noticed, because
I am here!
Let me love you . . .
Reflection
In this prayer, Jesus asks us to let Him love us. How can we open ourselves to His love? Many find meditation helpful. Close your eyes and relax. Take deep breaths, and try to empty your mind of any worries or thoughts. Just be in the moment. Feel your breath. Relax each of your muscles, starting with the face and traveling down the body until you finish with your toes. You can first tense the muscle, and then slowly relax it.
Now, imagine Jesus in the room with you. Imagine Him smiling at you and looking at you with more love than you have ever seen. His eyes look straight into your heart. There’s no need to keep anything hidden from Him. Give Him full access to all of you. Feel His love. Feel Him touch you in a comforting way.
“Peace be with you,” He says. He calls you by name, and you hear respect, understanding and love in His voice. “What do you want to tell me?” He asks. “I am here for you. I am here.”
Tell Jesus everything that is on your mind. Feel His warmth and compassion.
When you have completed your conversation with Jesus, He again says, “Peace be with you.” He fades away, yet the light and love He brought remains always in your heart. You know you have seen and experienced an incredible event, a life-changing occurrence. Now, when you are comfortable, you can open your eyes. Don’t analyze what happened; just sit with your feelings, and let your experience with Jesus wash over you.
This is one way you can let Jesus love you. There are many ways, but this is one I have personally found helpful and uplifting. Say the above prayer during the day. Find a quiet place to pray. Tonight, write down your feelings and the experience you had. Did Jesus say anything else to you? What feelings did you have after you talked with Him?

I think the prayer might read better if it was divided into stanzas; I felt with double spacing every line it gave me too much white space and distracted me a bit.
The idea of meditating and letting the light stay with you is a powerful way to worship God and come out of it feeling more refreshed.
