Clear vision you will need.
Adjust the lenses of your eyes
Accommodate, so you will heed.
You’ve journeyed o’re a dusty road,
And been blinded by the storms-
You’re vision’s dimmed, you cannot see
My Beauty, My Presence or Form.
PONDER My truths that I have told
As recorded in the Holy Word.
Think very carefully, my child
About the teachings you have heard.
What have I asked of you, my love,
And what changes are you to make?
What mysteries did I reveal,
And what sins must you forsake?
RECKON on my vast promises
As anchors I have given-
To set you free, and give you hope,
To keep you from feeling driven.
Consider yourself dead to sin,
But alive to God in Jesus;
Useful in all He planned for you
‘Beloved’ is how He now sees us.
MEDITATE as a way of life
On all my ways, my truths, my plan.
Then actively instruct your heart
So you can safely take a stand.
And fight against the evil one,
For you will surely look, and find-
All attacks begin, grow and end
As his battlefield is your mind.
“For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things (fix your minds on them).”
Philippians 4:8 Amplified Bible.
