Like there’s nothing to do?
What season it now is—
Have you not any clue?
Open your eyes and look;
Fields are ready to reap.
Souls are lost and hungry.
Who will gather the sheep?
The harvest is yet ripe,
And laborers are few.
Much toil needs to be done,
And God wants to use you.
Do you hear the Lord’s voice
Asking, “Whom will I send?
Who will go out for us?
On whom can I depend?”
“Lord, Here am I; send me,”
God wants to hear you say.
Whatsoever is right—
That He will surely pay.
Unfold your idle hands;
Stop twiddling your thumbs.
God has a task for you—
Occupy ‘til He comes.
Make haste—you must hurry;
Work while it is called day.
Be about God’s business.
Let the Lord have His way.
You must redeem the time
Before the darkness falls.
The clock is fast ticking.
Will you answer the call?
