Enemies march surrounding my tent
Armies and swarms of the barrack’s chariots
I do not surrender in battle or relent
For God will fight for me as He promised.
The sword is drawn, the enemies release to fight
Horses speedily ride to my wooden gates,
I do not fold nor stand in fear
I do not run or act afraid.
For God is with me every step of the way
As my home is singed with fire
The torches thrown, the arrows lose from the bow,
I do not waver or anticipate to retire.
I am confident in this war
As the enemy comes closer to my base,
The Lord enables my men to forge
Into the front lines of their militant chalet.
I do not fight because of hate,
But to defend my Christian heritage
For God’s people are against the evil one,
He is Satan, the one who lies in wait.
So I am upheld in my actions by God’s Mighty Hand,
Because I serve Him and win because of Jesus,
He is the One who enumerates my men to stand,
In the presence of my enemies.

I can wholeheartedly relate. Reminded me of Joshua 1 onwards.
Thank you!
