It is so warm and snuggly in this cocoon and I never want to come out. Why would I ever want to come out from beneath the protection of my Lord and King?
There were many times that I saw You protect me. I remember climbing a staircase and I was about to fall backwards and invisible hands held me up. Cocooned in an embrace!
There was the time I was driving home from a bible study and I couldn’t see in front of me. You provided an angel. You put a car in front of me with the brights on. I got to the light on my road which was red and I looked up, but the car had vanished. Some may say it is coincidental, but I know better.
Cocooned in love!
Even in the small things You cocoon me. There was the time I didn’t have enough gas in the car to make it home. I watched my tank fill up half way. Cocooned in mercy!
Yes, I am wrapped up in a protective covering where I am cozy and warm. I will stay beneath Your banner of love where I know I am safe.
