Have you ever noticed that where the highest towers are tells us where the seats of power are located in the earth? Prior to the twenty-first century, the tallest towers were in the United States. The Empire State Building, with only 102 floors, was the crowning achievement of the 1930s. The Sears Tower (1973 -2009), now named the Willis Tower, in Chicago was also impressive, boasting 110 stories. Of course, we remember the two towers of the World Trade Center. In a study of the ten tallest towers in the world, I learned that only one of them currently is in the US. It is the World Trade Center in New York City and it is number six. There has obviously been a shift in power in just the last ten years. Of the ten tallest towers in the world, there are five in China, two in Saudi Arabia, one in Taiwan, one in North Korea and one in the US. Let that sink in.
Speaking of yet future days, Isaiah 30:25 (ESV) says: “And on every lofty mountain and every high hill there will be brooks running with water, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.” I believe that God will cause all of our towers to fall as only He deserves the place of exaltation that they represent. The Name of Jesus is above all. He is our high tower. Human pride will be abased when He creates the new heavens and the new earth that will be filled with righteousness. Those of us who know Jesus will rule and reign with Him for 1000 years and then live with Him forever!

Loved how you interposed, that in the end, all towers will fall to God and His kingdom.
