I am working hard to put the Word of God into my heart as well as in my mind. What I take in I will be able to harvest at a later date. I am mindful of what I watch on the big screen or TV, as well as the type of music that I allow in.
Whenever I find myself thinking hard or just daydreaming, I like to think of it as " Harvest Time. " Most of my day I spend, in actual prayer or an attitude of Worship.
I've learned to continually ask the Father for his favor in whatever I do while, of course, putting him first. This week's subject matter, I concede that once again, I was conflicted about which way to go for this project— always wanting to be fresh and clear about what I want to get across in each piece.
I believe that the older we get, the more extensive life experiences we gather. I likewise venture to guess that I have seen and heard some things that you may have only just read about in school or possibly online. I believe that an individual who newly gives his or her life to the Lord Jesus Christ can rocket past another who has not studied the Holy Scriptures of God but chose to jettison their initial enthusiasm for God and are in a holding pattern. In other words, one who only shows up for the primary Worship Service and leaves.
I once shared that I do not wish to take the Lord our God for granted in any way, shape, or form. I sincerely believe if we don't use what God has given us, we could lose the gift. We must exercise our minds and bodies. As I wanted to share with you earlier, our thoughts prayerfully must be managed as they come from the fertile ground in which the Father has blessed each of us. We all have heard the term cleaning the house; we must purge out the filth, the impurities minute by minute if necessary from our minds.
Everyone is different, but we all must continue to flex to control our old Adamic Nature, which will push us to satisfy what we lust after. Be mindful and stay on top of the weeds that may be growing in your garden. I wish you a great harvest.
