It breaks my heart when I think of another person going to Hell without hearing " The Good News. " Have you ever honestly thought about the realization of Hell? Please do yourself a favor and read or re-read the accounting of
" The Rich Man and the Beggar, " told by Jesus (Luke 16: 19-31). The weekend before last, one of my grandsons and his dad came by the house. You see, we are all still grieving the loss of his mom, my daughter, on 8/18/19. This grandson is only age 11, and he is also the one who found his mom dead on the couch in the morning. Needless to say that this was one of the most traumatic things that have happened to our family. Yes, we have lost parents and grandparents, but never my child nor my grandson's mother.
One thing that I want you to take away from my family's loss is that my daughter had a Personal Relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ — getting back to the weekend before last. I have peace that my grandson and his dad both know the Lord as their Personal Savior. I was in the bedroom alone, and a knock on the door rang out, and it was grandson number eight. He came in, and I could see that he was still troubled and having flashbacks. My mind went back to the morning that I lost my baby girl ( age 45). Without saying, my family and I are still taking life one step at a time, we are heartbroken. The officials say that it was a heart event when grandson number eight approached her on the coach he called out, shook her, and he even pinched, and like myself, she has been called a trickster. He immediately contacted my oldest daughter in Maryland, as she is an emergency nurse. She asked him to take a good look at Mom; he responded that the jaw and face area was blue.
My daughter immediately told him to call 911. He made contact with the 911 folks, but the man on the other end thought that this was a joke, I would imagine, my grandson said that he heard him laughing with another person.
Please remember that my grandson is eleven years old, and
they realized that they had a child on the line. My grandson lost it and shouted. I think that I just lost my mother and you're laughing. With that, they jumped into gear and got the right people on the scene.
The day that we buried our daughter, I didn't come across anyone with dry eyes. It was raining and of course, a very grey day., and I confess that I can't remember seeing so many umbrellas at one time. There were about four hundred who came to see my daughter off, and many wanted to regale some encounter that they had with her. My wife and I heard so many amazing stories of our daughter's love and generosity for others. As a man of prayer who desires the Lord Jesus, I am well aware of how important it is to win souls to Christ. I am equally pleased to say that our children and grandchildren are of like mind. The Word of God says in Proverbs 11:30, " He who is wise wins souls." Until next time.
