lightning flashing, thunder rumbling
rain is pouring down, people grumbling,
unthankful when rain was needed
A wild bull is a fearsome beast
running free in forest lease,
captured by a bull chaser,
sent to meat works as a taster.
A wilderness is an untouched land
not cultivated by man's hand,
jungle, forest or bushland,
available to be harvested by man.
Wildfire is fire out of hand
consuming parts of our land,
and homes, making people cry
as in its fury, it races by.
Wild animals are still around
though their habitat is losing ground.,
people try to redress this shame,
of taking their land in progress name.
Wild plants still grow
on an untamed land unknown,
each so beautiful and pristine,
eagerly sought by man to be grown.
Unrestrained orgies, fuelled by alcohol
are perpetuated by man,
uncivilised behaviour
we cannot understand.
Uninhabited land is wild,
forest or desert or island,
waiting for the hand of man
to desecrate this unknown land.
People can run wild,
like an unruly child
intensely enthusiastic
and overeager
Uncivilised man is called wild
living like a little child,
primitive is his ways
eking out his simple days.
