He had left home hours ago to take a basket of fish and bread to Savta {his Grandma}.
“Ima, Ima,” he yelled. “Oh Ima, you should have been there.”
“Is Savta okay?” Dahlia asked.
“I saw miracles today. Our food grew and grew and fed everyone!”
She sat down and waited for Caleb to elaborate. He was not making sense.
At ten he was very imaginative but this was different. She looked inside the basket and could see that it was now full of bread and fish.
Caleb continued to relate in very excited terms that on his way to Grandma Savta's house he had seen lots of people hurrying in the opposite direction. Curiosity took hold of him and like an automaton, he followed them. In the distance he could see Uncle Andrew and his friends in the middle of the crowd, so he got as close to him as he could. For what seemed like hours, the leader that Uncle Andrew travelled with was talking to the people. His name was Yeshua.
He explained to her that the strangest thing happened when Yeshua decided that the people were now hungry and needed to be fed. No one had food it seemed except him.
At this point, he sat down her next to and started shaking his head.
“What happened?” asked Dahlia.
“They took my five loaves and two fish and gave it to Yeshua. He prayed over it and before all of our eyes the fish and bread just got more and more. Ima, it was …..”
He went to the well and drank water before he continued.
“All the people got food!”
Dahlia’s eyes were wide and grew wider. “How many people were there, Caleb?”
“Lots and lots Ima!”
Later that day she verified his story because all the locals were talking about the miracle of the food multiplying and the feeding of thousands.

Red Ink: Instead of using {his grandma} you could have written: his grandma, Savta. Instead of giving Caleb's mother a name, you could have referred to her as his mother. This would have made the meaning of the Hebrew words clear without having to define them at the end.
Well done,
Blessings~
