:a past reality.
I muse over bygone days
from childhood to adulthood.
I dwell on the good old days,
free from care and worries.
As a child, I stared and gazed,
and on dad's laps-- Peekaboo! we played.
After heavy downpour,
we kids dashed to a flooded field
,lying by a thriving brook; we laughed in glee
scooping up colourful carps and guppies.
On seeing cute children,
I reminisce swimming across the kids' pool,
ferrying my girl on my back heroically
like a big brown bear with its cub,
back and forth.
I recall how much fun and joy
I indulged in with my little girls,
climbing up the hills,
admiring the rustic beauty,
and playing frisbee in the open air.
Pondering over the childhoods,
I realise-- oh, how time flies!
I wish I could rewind and replay,
but have to let go and move forward.
He's the Alpha and Omega
of my life: present, past and future.
We'll, I am still a child in His sight
for He cares for me tenaciously.
