Run, run, run.
Go, go, go.
That is the mantra they want you to hear,
want you to obey.
But what are you striving for?
Where are you running to?
Is it power?
Is it money?
Is it acceptance?
Is it because you are simply told to?
Does the fear of being left behind overwhelm you?
Drive you?
Make you
into who you are?
Into who you wish to become?
Yet all the while, where is your peace?
Where is that deep breath,
that moment when you stand back from the small
to take in the grand design I have for you?
You cannot do it on your own
and that is why
I AM
here;
I AM
rest;
I AM
peace.
Why chase the wind when
I AM
the race marked out for you?
I love you
and sometimes I let you run
on your own,
let you reach the point of collapse
so that when you fall,
when you fail,
you realize that
I AM
the One who must carry you.

I really lie the underlying message here, the layout was a little messy in my opinion. Before you submit your article you can preview how it looks on the web site. This can help. Paragraphs, commas and correct spacing are tools that help wrap and package what you are trying to say, thus making it more dynamic for the reader.

A short paragraph can add emphasis.

Good material for all of us to remember and consider. Nicely written.

God has given us all we need to become all God want us to be.

Would you consider a poem of this type to be a teaching devotional? Why not, if it would cause someone to run to God instead of after something that won't satisfy.
