A dead end job may not pay very well and see no hope of advancement.
The thing I ask is why is it a bad thing? The good thing about a dead end job is you'll cast your eyes on Jesus. You may be forced to trust that the Lord will provide for you.
If you're a Christian and you love your job, there is a risk that you could worship your work and not God. Sunday morning becomes a ritual. Once it's over, they don't need to think of God until next Sunday.
People who are non-Christians who love their jobs may believe that they don't need God. They get attached to the material things of this world.
But then I looked at what I had done, and I thought about all the hard work.
Suddenly I realized it was useless, like chasing the wind. There is nothing to gain from anything we do here on earth. Ecclesiastes 2:11
A college degree or becoming a president of a company will not get us into heaven or buy favor with the Lord.
A dead end job may be meaningless, but it could bring a meaningful relationship with the Lord.
