"Ruff, ruff, ruff ruff."
Watch out! If only I could speak English!
The dog grabbed Tony's hand with his mouth and tried to pull him out of danger. Thud a car hit Tony, and both fell to the ground. Chewy licked Tony's face. Oh my gosh I hope someone calls 9-1-1. Five minutes later, an ambulance showed up and they shocked Tony to get his heart started again. Once Tony was stabilized, The paramedics rushed him to the hospital.
After Tony was released ,Chewy stood guard while Tony rested on the couch. The doorbell rang, "Ruff…ruff… ruff…ruff." The dog dashed to the door and growled at the man standing there.
I have to protect Tony, the man is putting his hand out, but all I want to do is bite it. Now the man knelt down and patted Chewy's head.
Okay, okay maybe I'll trust him. Chewy licked his hand, and then the dog trotted over to Tony's chair and laid down.
The dog's ears perked up for a second, and then he rested his head on the floor.
"My magazine wants to do a story on your accident." The reporter opened his notepad and clicked his pen. "What happened the day of the accident?"
Tony started to tear up. "I was crossing the street and stopped for a second. Suddenly I heard a horn honking and Chewy grabbed and pulled me out of the way."
Chewy stood up for a second, wagged his tail, and then laid back down.
Tony paused and looked off into the distance. "I fell to the ground and was knocked unconscious. The next thing I knew I was going up a tunnel, and I saw a bright light."
The reporter rolled his eyes. "You're blind, how could you see a light? What was at the end of the tunnel?"
Tony shifted in his chair. "I can't explain it; I saw what I saw. When I got to the end of the light, I saw Jesus. He said, 'Well done good and faithful servant, but it's not your time to come home.' Jesus also said that I need to tell others so that they may believe."
The day of the accident was not Tony's time to die. Thankfully, Tony knows Jesus as his Savior. The question is when you breathe your last breath and travel through the tunnel, which light will you see when you get to the end? The glow of Jesus or the light from the fires of hell?'
