Sat on a shelf of tinted pink glass
Her bottle was full of sweet smelling scents
Of Jasmine, of musk and frankincense
There were others around her, with scents of their own
But none were as fragrant as Pattys cologne
She was made very special, then put in her glass
And people surmised that her bottle had class
But none stopped to smell the contents inside
Lifted her up or gave her a try
At the end of the day, as many passed by
The scent of her inner had never been tried.
Some time had passed since Patty been there
She began to think that nobody cared
To see what lay beyond the glass
Beneath her golden lid of brass
Then one day came a gentle hand
Reached out to touch the perfume stand
Picking Patty up alone
Then paid the money, took her home.
Patience to all who wait for love
Who often think they're not thought of
As not everyone preferred Pattys scent
Someone special, The Lord will send.

Just a bit more work on counting out the meter, and this adorable poem will be perfect. Also, in the 2nd stanza, an apostrophe please, in "Patty's cologne."
