Blocked the sky from view
And on the ground, their roots of brown
Played with the moss and dew
A feather danced upon a breeze
To float within a breath with ease
“Hello” “Goodbye” “I’m off to fly”
It seemed to say, with it’s reply
Some birds are singing songs of glee
As if they speak to only me
“Welcome to this peaceful; place”
“Where you can take a slower pace”
A big brown bear just winked his eye
As something yellow just buzzed by
Even they seem calm today
Taking time to scratch and play
I walk along a path of green
Within a heartbeat, smile and dream
I know that I am not alone
And thank God for these treasures shown
A peaceful day to meditate
Sweet visions for my heart’s escape
Before, behind the road is clear
My steps may take me far or near
The smell of pinecones in the air
God’s loving presence everywhere
Designed this moment in my mind
A place of quiet, to unwind
