Then Adam replied, “But how will I understand the message when I know not what this is called?” The Master replied, “That is for you to name and whatever you call it I will decree and it shall remain.” Then the Master turned and walked down the shoreline and disappeared into the sunlight. Adam was pondering a name for the marking when Eve walked into his line of sight. Eve spoke and broke Adam’s concentration “My husband why didn’t you wake me with a kiss of the morning dew, did you not know I would awaken and miss you?” Adam responded, “Be still my wife, my love is the same but the Master has left me with a mystery to name. Eve moved closer to ponder the marks than she did something bazaar, she knelt down and began to trace the letters by touching the sand. Adam was angered that Eve would interfere with the Master’s plan and he rebuked her by saying, “Woman, remove thy hand you have no right to assume a man’s work, get thee aside and leave me be.” So Eve moved to another part of the shoreline and knelt down to recall the markings the Master drew. When Adam had tired of thinking of names he came to Eve to repent of his temper.
Adam looked at Eve and smiled with delight as he asked, “Wife, what are you doing in the sand?” Eve answered him saying, “I too am righting my claim to work.” “Righting?” Adam questioned. “Yes, I am your spouse and I share the same right to work along with you to help figure the Master’s message” Eve replied. Adam asked her, “What is it you right in the sand?” Eve stood erect and dusted the sand off her hands as she examined her response. She began to walk pass Adam in route to their humble abode but just as she neared Adam she whispers, “You tell me, my husband, it is a copy of the Master’s plan and He left this task for the work of man.”
Today, man (humanity) is still attempting to figure the master plan God has left to guide us through our life time on earth. Who knows what the Master wrote in the sand, perhaps it was the bible text of John 3:16. Perhaps it was a message man has yet to figure out and will remain working at it until the Master calls him home.
