I like this work of poetry. When we are young, we feel we are invincible. We do things that we will regret later in life. I'm glad that my grandmother taught me at an early age about Jesus. He kept me even when I wasn't thinking about Him. And, now, my life belongs to Him alone. I have a David too. We worship God together and teach our children to do the same. Without my God foundation, I'd hate to think what my life would be like now. Thanks for sharing.

This poem does make you stop and think for a moment. To reflect on choices. That makes this a very good writing.

Thanks to you, I have just read my life story; only with different names and different places. It is so true, so terribly true! - that youth is wasted on the young. Great Write, and for me, a melencholy read; of a life that could have been...

I loved your poetic memoirs..and it was very well written. THanks for sharing.
