people also tend to yield
a vast array of shape and size
as well as color of hair and eyes.
Each lovely flower has its own name
and yet, they are not all the same,
some are small and some are large,
some grow in fields and some in yards.
Yet, it is with people as it is with flowers
they bloom, and beautiful they are;
but time does to them a withering,
the bloom of life then fades and falls.
But people have some place to go.
The blooms of beauty of mankind and flowers
to the earth return, and there they decay,
while the spirit and the of man flies away.
The question is to where?
All things around us tell the tale,
neither man or beast, or flowers prevail;
death to everything occurs and it’s not a thing
unnatural; the question is, "What have you got?"
Have you prepared for judgment?
Have you asked Jesus to be Lord of your life?
Have you asked Him to forgive your sin
and to your life to enter in? If so, you are ready.
Enjoy the beauty of your living and when it’s done
Fly away to your Savior, The Holy One.
