John 15:16
Thought for Today: You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-- fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My name. (NIV)
You have a purpose, I heard a voice speak deep within my soul.
Look around! Look at how many people look up to you! Look at what you know! You know all about Me! You have spent time with Me. You have read My Word and grown so much. People are thirsty for My Words. You might be the only Bible some people ever get to read. Listen to Me! This is not your imagination.
Time and time again, tears would flood my eyes! I’m not worthy, Lord! I am just not worthy! You should pick someone else. Why have you picked me?
Then, God brought me to a beautiful flower garden. He showed me all kinds of flowers. Some were just planted, barely sprouting, half grown, and only a few were fully bloomed.
“There you are, ”He said!
He pointed to the flower fully bloomed. It stood high above the other flowers. Do you see how beautiful it is? It is ready to be picked.
“Lord, is this how you view me,” I asked?
“Yes,” He replied. You are beautiful. Can you smell the sweetness coming from this precious flower? When the wind blows the sweetness goes everywhere.
“What do you mean, God?”
God chuckled! This sweetness comes from you. When you let Me use you, it effects everyone around you!
PRAYER: Thank You for taking me for a walk in Your garden today. Thank You for showing me how You view me. Just like people, each flower in Your garden is different. Everyone has a special purpose. You have picked some to serve You because they are grown while You are waiting for others to bloom!

It needs just a tiny bit of polishing in spots like this: “There you are, ”He said! It should read like" There you are!" He said.
Once you fix those tiny errors, I could see you submitting this to a devotional book or magazine. The message is full of hope and faith. I think many people will be touched by your beautiful encounter with God. Thank you for sharing it.
God bless~
