The apple looked quite good to Eve.
Adam ate too, they had to leave.
Esau wanted savory stew,
Lost his birthright, first thing he knew.
Now the Israelites would complain
That eating manna was a pain.
They wanted onions, garlic, leeks,
For something more tasty to seek.
The King’s menu of wine and meat,
Daniel and friends refused to eat.
Jesus said I’m the bread of life.
I’ll help your through trouble and strife.
He fed the crowds with bread and fish.
Spiritual food they did not wish.
To please God we should always seek
Even in what we drink and eat.
When Jesus His disciples told
Come eat bread and fish ere it’s cold,
Surely this meal had a flavor
Each of them could really savor.
At last to God’s great banquet hall
All His faithful ones He will call.
For those who have gained His favor,

As for the little fluke about repeating the verse, don't worry that happens to the best of us. One little trick I learned is to leave the level and title boxes blank until you have fully previewed your story. By leaving it blank if you accidentally hit submit instead of preview the article won't be accepted until you go back and fill in the level and title boxes.
This was fun to read and left me with a feel good feeling. You definitely covered the topic in a creative and different way.
