if it affected only me;
I‘d fix the wrongs
in my family.
The things I’d do
cannot be told.
I am not shy,
I’m very bold.
I’d be a mix of
women strong
and daring, doing right
and righting wrong.
I’d put’em down
with karate chops,
their mean behaviors
quickly stop!
Those are risks I’d take today.
But God demands
I risk in another way,
what He says is simply, “Pray.”
“Pray and don’t act
‘til a proper time,
then let your words
be wise and kind.”
“I am the One
Who reaches within
every person to convict
them of sin.”
“You can’t change
wrong from the outside in;
it’s from the inside out
that they cut off their sin.”
“I know it’s very hard for you
inclined as you are to see
things through. But, God’s
servant does not strive with men.”
“Trust Me. You will, as did Martha
at Lazarus’ tomb find,
that I have a plan
that never entered your mind!”

God bless~
Some of the lines and rhymes felt a tad forced or awkward but a poem is something that is never finished. I know I'll dig out some I wrote years ago and tweak them a bit.
Your message is beautiful and I think you are so blessed to know that God does speak to your heart. I also admire that you don't keep these words to yourself but want to share them with the world so anyone who reads this will also be touched by God.
