You can’t think of anything medically wrong that would cause your weariness. You have been getting sufficient sleep and it isn’t as if you’ve been laboring in the hot sun. After all, most workers today work in an air conditioned environment with limited physical stress. And those who labor for their living seem to be no more exhausted than the rest of us. Oh sure, they have their aches and pains, but their physical labor isn’t the major problem.
Maybe you have been neglecting your spiritual self, something ingrained which seeks to make your life complete. After all, each day you trudge to work, go through the motions required, and end the day without any real sense of accomplishment. Where is your life heading? Have you been reduced to living for work?
Now all of us are aware that recent hard economic times give much reason to feel tired. You work harder often for less money. You are fearful that your job can be lost overnight. Will you be able to pay your bills? Are you worried about losing your home? And unlike earlier times, the pace of daily activities is speeding up like a locomotive on a runaway train. All of these things cause mental stress and make us tired.
This is where our spiritual needs fit in. As a creature of God, a part of His creation, we have a need to be infected by the Holy Spirit. God is always present, but we must open ourselves to Him in order to receive the Spirit. This requires us to devote the time and effort to receive His glory. If we accept Him, we can turn our life around. Instead of living to work, we can begin working to live.
Most of us have and follow a financial plan in our daily life. But do you have a spiritual plan? Do you have a plan to help focus on what is really important? If not, you will always be tired. You must have something to lead you to success in this material world while also staying on course for a greater life when your time on earth is done.
Now you might be thinking that since you go to church every Sunday and profess your love for Jesus you have a spiritual plan. And if you do attend services regularly that is a very good thing. But you might be getting in the trap of expecting a once weekly enrichment to adequately recharge your spiritual battery.
So what should you do? Well, it’s really quite simple. You need to have a daily plan to open your heart and mind to Jesus. You must be open to His grace and love always.
There are many ways to do this. There is no one way that works for everyone. Think of a peaceful situation where you can place yourself daily in the presence of His wonder and glory. This will lead you in the right direction.
As a country resident myself, I find that sitting on my back deck in the late afternoon is a wonderful way to connect with the Lord. I listen to the birds singing, the cows mooing, the horses whinnying and, yes, even my pet parrots talking. Along with the beautiful surrounding scenery, the animals help symbolize for me the beauty and wonders of this earth. And all of this was made available by a loving and caring God.
My peaceful time with God gives me a chance to meditate, commune with Him and say my prayers in a very natural setting. It also is a good way to review my day and identify my strengths and weaknesses so that I can make myself better and stronger for tomorrow.
What you choose to do yourself is wide open regarding approach. The important thing is to just do it and make it a regular habit. It will strengthen you to better face life’s challenges and remove that tired feeling, replacing it with one of joy and happiness. Give it a try. I am sure you will be refreshed and energized.
Remember God is watching. Let Him bring peace and joy to your heart.

Personally, I like messages that don't use the word you, it can come off as preachy and might not fit every reader.
Near the end when you shared about what you do is when I felt a connection to the MC and believed you too have suffered and have some great ways to allow Jesus to build one back up again.
The part of sitting on that back deck "listening to the animals...cows mooing, horses, and birds" I wanted to come and join you in your meditation! How joyful and peaceful to sit and commune with God in His beautiful creations.
I loved this. Thank you for bringing this devotional and loving piece to us.
Great job.
God Bless,
Camille~
