To look ahead and keep on track.
Heaven's our final goal it's true.
Each day God will our strength renew.
To remember sins of the past
Will only make us feel downcast.
God forgives and remembers not.
He never has an afterthought.
As far as east is from the west,
Are our sins that are confessed.
We need to forgive in this way too,
Not matter what others may do.
Unforgiveness is a sin.
Renounce it and let Jesus in.
To think about how good we've been,
To be self righteous, is a sin.
Reliving things that caused us grief
Bring to Jesus to find relief.
On the other hand, it is true,
Remembered blessings seem brand new.
Looking back on joys of the past,
Seems to make their memory last.
We should remember to rejoice,
Each day in praise to raise our voice.
Always remember heaven's our goal,
The destination of our soul.
We'll count the blessings of the past,
Today's and those to come, unsurpassed.

But always look forward with His Kingdom as our goal. I loved this. Thank you.
God bless~
I did have some trouble with some lines. I found myself stumbling and having to reread them to get it. The rhymes were good but sometimes at the sacrifice of the flow. This line for example made me stumble because the words are out of the order we usually would expect. Each day God will our strength renew if you had changed it to Our strength each day, God will renew. may have flowed better. This line To be self righteous, is a sin. didn't need the comma.
Those are just little things. All in all the poem was really beautiful. It touched my heart and gave me goosebumps. This is really nice poem!
Wing His Words,
Pam
