Enough of doing it my own way
I have made enough mistakes without you
I have made enough blunders without you
Just when I thought am on the right track,
only to end where I started. All! without you
I have made enough work but all was toiling without you
Enough of toiling
Enough of gambling
Enough of emptiness
Enough of striving
Enough of taking laws into my hands
Enough of talking without action.
All without you
I Am done with emptiness
I Am done with fake life
Nothing but YOU is real
All is vanity without you
I have toiled all night with my boat
Yet no catch
But at thy word O Lord I want to let down my net.
I Am done!
I have studied all through and within
Yet no understanding
Now am done! All I want is your word…
“The entrance of your word giveth understanding”
Please Lord, I have had enough of nothing
All I want and need is enough of you
