Although this is just a dream, let us pray that if indeed Santa were real, he and his believers should one day meet the One and Only Reason for the Christmas season. That instead of decorating those shop windows and their homes with a big-bellied old man in a red suit, we should all be decorating our hearts with the Savior whose remarkable birth changed the course of history forever, thus, making Santa obsolete.
Jesus is God's greatest gift to humanity. Surrendering our lives to Him is the best gift we can offer to God.)
One Christmas Eve, so many years ago,
Santa, as usual, was hurriedly loading his sleigh
With a million and one gifts
For chidren around the world.
The Santa elves in the toy factory
Could still be heard working with their elfin hammers,
Rushing to finish a million more toys before the night was over.
Mrs. Santa and her dwarfish maids were busy brewing
Hot cocoa in the kitchen,
A steaming drink for everyone
To keep them warm on a freezing Christmas night.
I'm leaving, my dear,
Santa waved goodbye to his wife,
Take care, my love,
Mrs. Santa blew kisses to her husband.
And in a flash
Santa's sleigh flew up the sky
Drawn by his faithful reindeers:
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen,
And Rudolph on the lead.
A cheerful Santa could be heard laughing
Ho!Ho!Ho! under the stillness of the dark hours.
In every place where there were children,
Santa made a stop
To drop their Christmas presents
According to their hearts' desires.
When Santa thought he had reached
The end of the road,
He called out his reindeers
With a Ho! Ho! Ho!,
It's time to go back home, my friends.
But when Santa and his reindeers
Were about to turn around,
Lo! and behold! an angel from heaven
Appeared before them with a trumpet,
And in a loud voice declared:
You missed one special little Boy in the village,
Whose birth we celebrate tonight.
Then the angel disappeared behind the clouds.
How can I forget one child,
There's no more toy in my sleigh,
Oh, I'll just make a promise,
Santa thought to himself.
So on to the village
Santa and his reindeers quickly soared.
When they came upon the clearing,
The reindeers silently landed.
Santa walked toward the little hut,
He saw that it was the house of a carpenter.
As Santa was about to knock,
The door opened slowly.
Entering, he saw a tiny three-year-old Boy,
Giggling with joy while playing with his lovely mother.
Santa stared wide-eyed at the beautiful face of the Boy,
His heart beating fast and his knees growing weak.
Who is this Boy that makes me shiver,
He wondered,
What is your name,
He asked.
I am the One they call the Christ,
The Boy replied.
My Lord! Santa bowed down to worship,
I have no gift to offer.
Your heart is full of love, Santa,
You always share them to the little ones.
A surrendered life is a special gift to God
To lay before His sacred throne,
The Boy divinely smiled.
I am but a sinner, my Lord,
Santa tearfully repented.
Your faith has healed you,
The Boy laid his hand upon Santa's head.
It was indeed a miraculous night!
These days, on a wondrous Christmas night,
You will still see Santa travelling across the sky,
But now on the wings of a choir of carolling angels,
Bestowing gifts of love and hope to every kid
Coming straight from the heart of Jesus.
Be sure to listen very well
While Santa at this moment sings,
Ho-Ho-Ho! Holy! Holy! Holy! to the Lord God of heaven!

...I just can't seem to make it work, time-wise.
But suspending logic is part of what this is all about, huh? So, I love it! I'd love to see this illustrated.
The competition is always quite intense in Level 1, so well done. Keep up the great writing.
