I like the touch of Indian culture here! Especially to know and see what's going on with. I liked the names and I felt sorry at the end to know the real reason why she was cooking with the big pot. Ah, the sacrifices a mother makes at times so the children do not know. Thank you for sharing this! ^_^
How like a mother to ensure her child eats enough at her own expense. This was a little glimpse into Indian village life. Well written and the dialogue was convincing. Well done indeed.

Aren't MOMS wonderful! The concern for the welfare of her son is so touching in this story. She had to hide the fact that even if she had nothing to eat, her son would never know. This story is great. It shows us in our countries what real poverty is. I also can remember my mother going without things so that her children would have them. I also remember how my parents, poor though they were, shared with those worse off than themselves...This story makes my heart ache. This story gives such a picture of life on your side of the world. How ungrateful many people are here! How complaining!...This story is an eyeopener. I loved it. You told it well. It is full of emotion, yet no complaining is hinted, on the part of the mother...Keep telling your stories, Thresia...Keep telling them...Helen
