Her gift is making arts and crafts.
Every week there’s something new
It’s amazing the things she can do.
There’s afghans and baby blankets
Knitted/crocheted, no end to them yet.
Give her a pattern or a mental picture
Her finished design it will certainly capture.
Needlepoint, sewing and beading too
Beautiful scarves all with a different hue.
Arts and crafts, yes that’s her bag
Literally, and that’s no gag
She made a purse for a formal affair,
She could have knit her entire eveningwear.
You see Martha Stewart has nothing on her,
Her talent is boundless most would concur.
One Christmas she gave handmade cards,
Beautifully drawn with hand written regards.
Holidays on her desk are always well represented,
Stuffed bunnies, teddies, or angels vented.
I admire my coworker Pat,
And her ability for making crafts.
I admire how she creates with her hands,
Taking material/objects and changing the plan.
I guess she is most like the Creator in that,
Sometimes He has to take us off track
Making us over again to something new,
Allowing us to complete what He’s called us to do.
