From then till now, the latter self devoured from within... bitter morsels tempting the tongue of fate... denying yet another meal of growth...the serpent sheds its skin... Yet still seen slithering away... all for naught... morning dew... another day

Yawn again... stretch beyond the limits of time... open the pages... Read... these thoughts within your own mind... Drown the beast which hides in shadows... drown him with tears of conviction...In the pool of who you used to be...

End your swim... Exit... cleansed with knowledge... knowing... depart from the dreams that never were... for His hands paint a picture...Reality stroked with purpose...The canvas is your soul... dare not look away... for fear the beast resumes control...

The artist feels your pain... Gods teardrops are the rain.

I like this. Your struggle is very intense. At first glance it seems that hope is slipping, but I read through three times and got a good sense that really the struggle itself spells victory. I liked the rain being called God's teardrops. Great job - keep at it!

Wow, such depth. Has to be read more than once to get to the soul of this poetic essay that tells a story; but it takes a deep mind. Beautifully done.
