The first four of these feasts were fulfilled by Yeshua at his first coming to the very day, hour and exact moment in which they had been rehearsed for thousands of years by the nation of Israel. Pesach, the feast of Passover, foretold his sacrifice as the spotless lamb that takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29 KJV). Hag HaMatzah, the feast of unleavened bread, represented Yeshua's sinless life, for leaven is a spiritual representation of sin (I Corinthians 5:7 KJV). He fulfilled the Bikkurim, the feast of firstfruits, by being the first to rise from the dead (I Corinthians 15:22-23 KJV). Shavuot (Pentecost) was the day the Holy Spirit was poured out on the believers in Jerusalem according to Yeshua's promise (Acts 1:4-5 KJV).
The three remaining festivals are to be fulfilled at Yeshua's second coming. Rosh HaShanah, the feast of a memorial of blowing of trumpets, also known as the day of the awakening blast, speaks of his coming for his saints at the end of days (I Thessalonians 4:16 KJV). Yom Kipper, the day of atonement, is the most solemn day of the Jewish calendar. In ancient Israel, it was the day the high priest entered the most holy place in the temple to make atonement for the sins of the nation (Leviticus 16:30 KJV). Yeshua will fulfill this sacred day as our Eternal High Priest. Sukkot or feast of Tabernacles will be fulfilled as Yeshua returns as King of kings and Lord of lords to establish his kingdom upon the earth from his throne in Jerusalem, where he will rule and reign over mankind, tabernacling with us for all eternity (Revelation 21:3 KJV). At that time, all nations will be required to go up to Jerusalem in celebration of the fulfillment of our Father's plan for our eternal redemption (Zechariah 14:16 KJV). May His kingdom come soon and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10 KJV).
