I loved your enthusiasm for reading and books, I also grew up without TV so I can relate. This was an enjoyable read.
Thank you for sharing your love of books and taking us to a bygone place and your book lover's haunts. An enjoyable read.
You invited me on a journey into my past I also grew up in a time when the library was so important. My family most always had the necessities but not a lot of extras. Besides checking out the Nancy Drew mystery novels, we also did our research for homework using the Encyclopedias. They were too costly for average families!

Good job!
Thank you for helping me remember the awesome adventures one could have in the library. My memories recall secretive hallways to curious reading nooks, or steps leading upstairs to mysterious portals! I use to feel like I kid in a candy shop, as I selected my favorite book to digest for the rest of the week...and best of all, it was free! Great Job! (only red ink I would give is to separate your paragraphs, so much easier to read). Keep on writing!
This is a very personal glimpse of a small personal side of a writer and a lover of books and learning. Delightfully written. Enjoyable read.
Congratulations on your 2nd place finish in the Beginners category, Sheriana.

I can relate to your story; I have a problem getting rid of any of my books.

Try to double-space between paragraphs for easier reading.
