Just recently I gave out my testimony as to why I attended the "Freedom Session" at the church. I said something which was not easy for me such say. I mentioned that I had suicidal thoughts in my past as well as alcoholism. I mentioned that I had drunk a lot of booze when I had to tell my story when I first began to attend the F.S program.
Sometimes it is good to text people by using a mobile phone. I don't often text very often. I text or phone to let my family know where I am, and where they are. Texting has become a very convenient way of communicating to people.
During church or bible study, texting does not have to be a necessity at all. Listening to a pastor or a person on a one to one basis can actually create better interaction with that person instead of texting or phone or by email.

As a beginner(and having English as my second language), I'm struggling with the way I break my sentences. I also have some difficulties with the punctuation and parallel structure.
A good soul, seeing my problem, gave me the suggestion to go to the FaithWriters forum and look at the resources. I found plenty of information and teachings there, specifically in "Ann's Grammar Basics" and "Jan's Writing Basics".
Maybe you could give a look on Ann and Jan's topics and see if there's something there for you too.
Keep writing, never give up!
Blessings
