Hunting for an article in the dark can be a frustrating thing. If you can find a useful tool, such as a flashlight objects come to light. The same is true within the confines of our Bible. Bringing the light into darkness is what Jesus is all about.
The vastness of space was in darkness in the second verse of Genesis, and then God called everything into existence and light came to our planet. In scripture darkness often is related with evil and light as truth. The devil is surrounded by darkness while Jesus is the revealing light. Jesus said He was the light that overcomes darkness. As the light He says he “is the way the truth and the life”, John 14:6.
Truth is the informative and instructive factor of our Bible. It brings clarity into our life as a believer in Jesus Christ. Our Bible, or the word of God comes by inspiration (2 Timothy 3:16) and is the truth, Jesus claimed to be “the word” and God, John 1:1.
So, to me the most important truth of the Bible is the revelation of Jesus Christ as the savior of the world, John 3:16. Woven within the pages of our Bible’s is this one truth; redemption comes through Jesus Christ and our belief in Him, Romans 10:9,10. Beginning in the Old Testament where the shedding of blood, the unblemished lamb brought the remission of sin. Blood was placed on the doorposts during the Passover of the death angel in the time of Moses. A central issue throughout scripture concerns the “blood of the Lamb.” Blood spilt upon the mercy seat brought forgiveness of sin and blood spilt at the cross gave freedom over sin and death. Jesus will sit on that mercy seat during the judgment and those who found salvation would never be judged for sin, Romans 8:1.
We all seek simplicity in our lives. Without some clarity our lives can be filled with chaos and confusion. Information brings about going from darkness to light. We gain our information from the Word of God. Our Bible’s are the revelation of truth and where truth is there is light.
As believers in Jesus Christ what is the one thing we struggle with? Of coarse, the answer is sin. The conviction of sin in our lives brings us to Jesus for forgiveness and eternal life. Reconciliation with God is what we desire. The cross of Jesus brings that reconciliation. According to our Bible our salvation comes by the grace of God, in the form of a gift, and with faith we receive it, Ephesians 2:8. Once we believe we are freed from sin, forgiveness is permanent and can never be snatched from us. Romans 5:8 open our eyes to this innermost truth. “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
When we receive Christ as our savior it’s not over, just beginning. Sin is still a part of our human self, Romans 6-8. We still sin but we are righteous before the eyes of our Heavenly Father. Jesus paid the price for sins at Calvary. He took our sin upon himself and covered it with His redeeming blood. He is the Lamb of God.
If we gain nothing from our Bible’s accept this one issue we are in darkness and will have a continuing fight with the sin in our lives. Freedom is a lack of restrictions and independence. Christ died once for all sin. John 3:16, “for God so loved the world” means all the world, even the worst of sinners. But He gave His son, Jesus to bring salvation to all who believe. This is the truth of scripture and is given as simple and clear as possible. If you are tied up with a problem of sin, dig deep in scripture and find the release. You have the Holy Spirit in you (2 Corinthians 3:16) and He is God. God and sin are like oil and water. Your spirit is clean and righteous when you believe, you only need cleansing of the body (the human) and God has given the cleaning material, 1 John 1:9. Forgiveness is ever present all we need do is confess, own up, plead guilty and become clean, righteous and holy.

I did notice comma errors throughout your story. I suggest you check out Jan's Writing Basics on the Forum. These have been very enlightening to me, and I am sure you will as well.

I would like to comment on one sentence. You wrote: "When we receive Christ as our savior it’s not over, just beginning." Peter said in (Acts 2:36) that God made Him (Jesus) both Lord and Christ (Savior). We have to make Jesus our Lord first by making him our master (Lord). We do this by obedience to what he desires for us. About 3,000 received the words Peter spoke and to show that Jesus was both their Lord and Savior, they were baptized. (Acts 2:41) verses 41 through 48 have more of how they lived after that.
