Neither should we pour them into molds
God gives the Church His Love, with Faith and Hope
Grace is the reason for precious gifts
Human wisdom can’t appreciate
Things of the Spirit we poorly know
Hope is the promises cherish we
It's security yearned by a child
Mum and Dad Keep Me Safe! pleads the kid
Marriage is confidence treasure both
It’s the vow in their love and the loyalty
A common Hope the blessed share
It's the employee's expectation
Boss will honor terms they have agreed on
It's the trust that the businesses have-
Clients and vendors to deliver
It's the peace that a country enjoys
When the neighbors honor borders
High-handed, Hope is high-jacked Oh!
Sidelines the world, devil may care!
Hearts and relationships sabotaged
Promises blatantly broken stark
Emotions damaged exude soon
Promises, soon to break, escalate
Left behind, hearts injured, sad souls
This is what follows, as promises fail
A trail of wounded souls and foes
Without God, there’s no fear- life’s chaos
A glowing wick He will not quench
A reed bruised will he break? He won’t!
Ray of hope ignites in darkness
Like a tiny ember burning bright
Deep in a coma, my wife long lies
She will wake up when God gives the green light
Prays my hopeful heart; I hear Him say
“I am the Lord that healeth Thee!”
Yes, we stand on the promises told
that can not fail or let us down
in the midst of life’s fiercest storms
of doubts and fears and challenges
He has vowed, you will overcome
Declares the Living God, who’s Christ, the Lord!
We’re made the heirs of glory
of the unwritten story!
Rejoice! Rejoice! He's risen!
Our Hope does have a reason
Our joy and trust in His Redemption
Come, taste the joy of His salvation
