Yes, it always amazes me each time I read that passage of the great Faith Abraham had! He believed and had such great faith that he told those who waited, "we'll be back soon" such was his faith in the Lord.

Great job.

God bless~
Very well written material on faith from an interesting Bible story.

I like how it seeks that God didn't really know or trust that Abraham really had faith until he had obeyed God's command. Look what God said.

Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.

God will know our faith is real when we obey what he commands us.

Good material as an example to each of us in our lives today.
You did a nice job of retelling this story. It certainly is an excellent example of Faith. I imagine I'd have bombarded God with what and why.

The only red ink I might offer would be to try telling this story from a unique POV. One example might be from Sarah's perspective. I wonder how she might have reacted. If I wanted to tell it really out of the box, I might tell it from the goat's POV. Jan, in Jan's Writing Basics just did some great lessons on different POV. If you haven't participated yet, I'd urge you to. She does a great job of responding to everyone and all levels of writers who participate.

Overall, you did a nice job of referencing the Bible and retelling the familiar story that really speaks to Faith and shows us what God would like us to aspire to. Nice job.
