“When I finally made it home I took the bird and my supplies in. About twenty minutes after I got home someone started pounding on my door. I threw down my Doritos, paused the basketball game I had been watching, and went to the door. It was the cops Cas, they went ‘Are you Misha Price?’ after I said yes they said that thing every cop on TV says, something like ‘Misha Price you are under arrest, you have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law.’” I said in a mock burly voice. “They threw me into the back of the car and sped off. When I got to the police station they took my prints and my mug shot and then threw me in a cell!” I say practically bouncing off of my seat. “Honey why are you so excited about this! It’s horrible, why would they do that to you?”
“Well I’m getting there hold your horses, and obviously I wasn't excited then, but I’m just realizing how cool this was. So the guy threw me in the holding cell and about an hour later he brought me to an interrogation room. Apparently that bird that hit me in the face was this famous persons bird that flew away during the filming of a commercial for PetSmart. I told them my side of the story, and the evidence they had matched up. I was free to go.
“You’re not going to believe this next part. Remember that unnamed famous person I was talking about? Well as they were taking me out of the interrogation room he came strolling on in with the bird perched on his shoulder. You’re not going to be able to guess who it was.” I tell Cassie, she smirks and asks “Who?” The next words explode out of my mouth at rapid pace. “It was Shaquille O’Neal. The Shaq himself in all of his seven foot glory walked right up to me and handed me a signed basketball jersey. He was all 'Thanks for saving my bird dude’ and I was all ’No problem man.’" I stopped, panting.
"So that's your story?"
“That’s my story.”
“You‘re insane you know that?”
“Yes, I do.”
“I can’t believe I’m marrying you.”

You have obviously enjoyed putting this together, but it needs more para breaks for us to stay with you - especially when the conversation switches from one character to another.
Extra paras also allow you to build the sense of teasing (that "Where are we going with this?" factor) that keeps reeling in your readers as you set us up for the punch line.
God bless~
