Interesting take on the topic and would make a great devotional. I think I might start with the experience your dad had with the drunk driver as a hook, and then weave in your excellent points. Great job!

I really loved this! It was an excellent devotional and will witness to many.

The part about the young men in duffle coats following you made me sit at the edge of my seat. The Holy Spirit guided you with that situation. Our discerning Spirit is such a gift from God.

This was well done and held a mighty fine message.

God bless~
Good discussion topic. To add to this, should one purchase insurance if it is not required by law. These are debatable areas for discussion.

Your article was well put together but did not try to sway the readers to one side or the other.

Just a challenge to think.

I liked where you mentioned the Holy Spirit. I am thankful to have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit when I was baptized for the forgiveness of sin. (Acts 2:38) When we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit we know we are doing what God would have us do.
Your piece was very true to life for all of us who are called beloved. I think we can all be, fearless at times in our Christian Walk, and other times we can fall into, well if I stand up for this issue, or run to the defense of this person, they may be armed. Your piece gave me encouragement. I hope I can start writing more online, about my faith as I do at home. Guess I am more unsure how others will take my writing. Anyhow thank you.

You did a good job of pulling the reader into the inner conflict, causing them to consider the right and wrong.

Implicit trust in God's divine oversight of His own is essential. However trust does not negate the need for wisdom, discretion and discernment. The Spirit indeed is our supernatural source of these, though we too are to be "Wise as serpents and harmless as doves."

Every situation and circumstance is different. The combination of our wisdom and God's wisdom is always more than enough to choose the right course of action.

Thank you for covering this important topic. God Bless!
