Why?
Komaka was the name of a newly discovered tribe in a tropical area. They were living their lives without association with other human beings, maybe they didn't even know if others existed. They were contented with their ways of life.
They wore garments made of animal hide to cover the lower parts of their bodies.
Each house in the vicinity was built with mud in a circular form, close together in groups according to families.
The house of the head of that tribe was located very close to a river which had very fine golden sand where exotic birds with most beautiful feathers flew around. Their melodious sounds were never heard elsewhere.
A little farther from the palace, a rather strange looking bamboo plantation can be seen on the far side of the river; their worship center.
Uniquelly woven, beautiful and sweet-scented flowers were the throne of that leader. His sixteen wives used to sit eight on either side of the thrown; each on her own flower chair of multiple colors.
Certain Missionaries, who were residents in a city about a day's journey away, were led by the Holy Spirit to follow a footpath that led them to this settlement where occupants fled when they saw the servants of God.
It was later learnt that they thought the missionaries were demons that put on human nature whose bodies must not be seen.
Clothes were strange to them.
It was absolutely impossible to exchange pleasantries because every sign language were rebuffed by the hosts.
The Missionaries retreated, prayed and planned the next line of action to win the people who God so loved that He gave His Son.
On the next visit, a few kilometres to the settlement, they put off their own clothes. The four men were left with knikers and singlets while the three women among them had knikers and skimpy tops on them. All of them have low-cut hair because that was how the people in the settlement looked.
When they got to that place, their hosts did not all run away. Many of them stood aloof, looking at the missionaries strangely.
The people of God moved closer; beckoning to them wilth love-filled smiles broadly covering their faces. Some of these people smiled in return and spoke to one another in ushered tunes. A few left to invite those who ran away.
On that day the Queen, who was the first wife among the sixteen, came with two housemaids. Her dressing was better than those of other women because, inaddition to the animal skin, she hung beautiful flowers on her waist. She had awesome ones as her headtie, bangles and necklace. That was one of the reasons the missionaries later called her FLORAL DORCAS.
Henceforth, the people of God visited the settlement regularly with gifts never seen by their hosts: clothes; beginning with underwear, then shorts, and sportswears until they were able to take other normal clothes.
In their early discovery, the Queen fell in love with them and introduced them to the head and other palace inhabitants.
She was the first to show interest in education brought by the missionaries and was a fast learner. She soon became the interpreter for the people of God.
One day, the visitors went to the palace with a special gift for the head, a mirror. As usual, the Queen took it from them and unrapped it before taking it inside to her husband; her eyes glittered with joy.
She presented it to him but when the man looked into it, he saw a man whose moustache and beard were dotted with grey hairs and asked, "Who is this man? I hate how he looks."
"You are the one!" she said happily pointing to him.
He snatched it from her and smashed it on the log of wood close to his seat of flowers with a stern warning, "Never bring such an object that condemns to me!"
It was then that the Missionaries understood the reason for her sad countenance. They consoled her with a promise to give her one.

On their way home that day, Peter, one of the Missionaries, said, "Brethren, I now understand better why people avoid and destroy The Holy Bible."
They stood still as Mary, one of them asked, "What do you mean?"
"Many people run away from the Scripture because it reveals their true self image inside and outside. May God help us to love His Word and change our looks inside out."
