And I'm praying desperately
And I'm calling out to you
Jesus talk to me please
You know I'm sad, now and then
Sometimes I want to fold
But it's with your strong right hand
That you alone uphold
I see your arms all out stretched
I see your hands as they bleed
Your eyes look to the sky
The Father's words you hear and heed
You take a sip and it is done
Pierced by a soldiers hand
A sign that quips that you are God
The woman that can't bear to stand
Not forsaken though it seems so
The plan is simply right
He knows what He has done
And the enemy has lost the fight
Now here I stand, give you my life
Your book's there to remind
I hold it close to my heart
You are the tie that binds
