I have tasted and seen that The Lord is good…
Yes, He is sweeter than honey and the honeycomb…
His precepts and laws are savory to my taste…
His words are like manna to my hungry soul…
Though I am weak, I shall not turn back…
For He is my shepherd my Priest, and my King…
He knows the way and I will walk with Him…
Dark clouds may hover but His sight is never dim…
Day after day He refreshes my mind…
Right from His Word and straight to my heart…
My Savior, my treasure, my all in all…
Who feeds my soul with His savory fare…
But now the question I dread to ask…
Am I a sweet savor unto My King?
I know not when my Savior may come…
Will I be ready with my lamp all trimmed?
Have you tasted that The Lord is good?
Have you found His laws to be savory to your taste?
I invite you to eat from His wonderful words…
They will be like manna for your starving soul…
