On the other side when fenced
Think cows as they graze
My life seems ok
Til to yours I compare it
You make my eyes green
Happy you are now
A promotion you’ve captured
My job can’t compare
I see your new car
Sparkling bright in the driveway
My clunker looks sad
Watching you park it
The new boat you’ve acquired
Why you and not me
Lord, more would be nice
Seems like he is Your favorite
I grumble to God
Do not be green child
All your treasures are storing
In heaven to stay
He does not know Me
His toys last but a moment
With him they won’t go
He knows not My Love
Satisfaction eludes him
There’s never enough
Tears roll down my cheeks
I see what I’ve been missing
I have the best thing
I know what to do
You need Jesus I tell him
He will not listen
Pray for him daily
I will no longer envy
I’ll stop all complaints
Boundaries are safe
By the Good Shepherd set
My fence I embrace
