To "consider the interests of others" really differentiates an adult from a child. Age really doesn't have a lot to do with it Good job on this devotional.
So much "meat" in this devotional. So true. I have a 16 yr old grandson who is driving and wanting his own car. That's about all he talks about. Yes, he's old enough legally...but do I want him to take on the responsibility of his decisions? Scary. Good message for any age.
You have well-expressed the sobering side of being an adult and being accountable for the decisions and the consequences of such.
I agree - nice devotional. I do think you could have used a better Biblical example in the 2nd paragraph - for example Titus 5:4 speaks to your situation better than the Good Samaritan. I was blessed by your lesson.

Good verse to open with. Nice devotional-thanks for sharing. I like how it isn't overly "preachy" in any way, but still makes the reader think. Good job.
